Got this a while back in trade. This is the Hammond Darkstar, hand made pickup, it's the DS3. The top is a mildly figured maple top over a 2 piece ash body. The neck is a Made in Japan Fender Jazz. Controls are Volume and Tone with a 2-way mini switch w/ selectable tone caps. .022 & .047. This bass can bark!!! Actually it's a very capable bass and plays wonderfully. I just need to thin the herd. I have a cheap hardshell case that I'll send it in.
