I've got an old Whirlwind IMP2 direct box (first edition!) for sale. Works great with no issues, has impedance switch for 600 ohm, 250 ohm, or 50 ohm. 1 1/4' input, 1 amp out, 1 XLR out, ground/lift switch.
SImple, basic, small, this was always in my bass case in case something went down at a gig. I used it at home too. Sounds great actually. Has a nice bump in mids and treble content for a little more bite than a standard Radial JDI type.
