I have a really nice Harley Benton jazz bass modded with Ulyates single coils pickups. $190 Will trade for quality recording mic or ??? I should make clear that the bass only has the black knob just as a standard jazz bass. NOT CHROME. It had this Audere and it's no longer in the bass
It's all original except the electronics. The blocks, I would assume are painted. Pretty sure stickers would've worn off by now. Neck hasn't been changed.
You can buy a brand new bass and find bad frets, off centered pickups etc. This doesn't effect the sound from the pickups. But thank you for the input and vision
For anyone who wants to know...
I've been a member for some time. I have sold, purchased and traded here. My track record speaks for itself. Please, don't use a person's ad to try to discredit a person's merchandise. A "pm" is more appropriate I believe if you are trying to help. If it's off putting for you to purchase, move to the next. Please don't use this forum to point out imperfections in Your eyes. I believe most bass players would have an idea how far off poles would effect sound. Just a thought
Don't sweat it too much. Like you said off center strings can be found on many instruments, just look at Fender jazz basses and a majority of them are off center on the G and E strings as well as other brands. Its always bugged me but never to the point I wont buy or play one as they still work as they should. Besides the fact that Glazenn has broken a cardinal rule of TB stated in the TB Classified FAQ's

Unfortunately I think it may have hurt the sale. But if it never sales, I won't be terribly disappointed. It's an amazing sounding bass. Thank you...blessings!
There's nothing wrong with this bass. The strings being off center could be fixed in 2 seconds. A great price for a great instrument. Especially with the upgrades!
It plays good. You might want to adjust it because it's been sitting for awhile. But shouldn't be a problem. I don't play it anymore. It's a great sounding and playing bass
