NOTE: This bass will be at the ISB.

I'm looking for an outstanding player to purchase my 1935 Alfred Meyer double bass.

Several features make this bass a stand out, including busetti corners and a distinct " A * M " making on the button and extremely high flamed neck and back.

The bass is in very good condition.

This is a larger 3/4 size bass with deep ribs. It has a wonderful warm resonant arco sound.

Players interested, please note that I will be bringing this bass to the ISB and it will be available to play.

Please feel free to message me for more details.

Recently listed at a high-end bass shop in Chicago for $32,000.

Great looking bass!

Can you post some measurements? Also, is it a 'D' or 'E' neck?

Thanks,

Paul

Hi,

Nice to see your beautiful bass! Is it sold yet?
I have a similar, just a few years older (anno 1928) and I love it to death. Mine is a bit lighter and have an extension fitted. One thing I love about it it that it sings clear and even in the whole range/register, from lowest to highest. Is your the same?
When I searched the Internet so see if there are more of these "out there" yours is the only one I can find.
Have you had it evaluated in the States or elsewhere?

Kind regards,
Kat
