Ok, here's the deal, I have two AWESOME Valenti S24FJ5's, which I've had for a bit over a year. I've gigged the crap out of these basses and they've been outstanding! The issue is I've always had a thing for headless instruments and the Kiesel Vader bass has completely captured my imagination. I have two fretted 5-string Vaders now and a 5-string fretless that's due anytime. I do LOVE my Valenti's, but I hate to see them just sitting, so I'm going to see if anyone else has the desire to play some of the FINEST examples of the modern Super-Jazz bass.

I'm gonna list the specs both basses have in common first...
-Lightweight Swamp Ash body(both basses weigh just a bit over 8.5lbs)
-Maple neck
-24-fret Ebony board(no inlays)
-34" scale
-19mm spacing
-Hipshot B-style bridge(black)
-Hipshot Ultralight tuners(black)
-Nordstrand Big Singles pups(in the "modern" positions)
-Nordstrand 3B preamp
-Valenti ProTec gig bag(This is a well padded, very protective gig bag)

These are the differences between the basses...
-One is gloss Trans black over a Flamed Maple top
-The other is solid, gloss Gunmetal Gray
That's pretty much the only differences.

The basses sound PHENOMENAL! My main gig is a modern rock cover band, and these basses can really nail that gritty, raw modern rock sound, but with these pickups, and this preamp, you can really cover anything from rock to smooth jazz and old Motown. I'll be putting some more recent pics up later tonight, but these will do for now...

The Trans Black one will be $1750 shipped
The Gunmetal one will be $1400 shippedSOLD

They've both been gigged extensively. Both of them have normal wear, scuffs, and dings from gigging, which I'll try to capture with pics later on tonight. The Gunmetal one has a pretty significant ding in the finish, and it's very visible(I'll post a pic of it later on.), that's why I'm pricing it significantly lower than the black one.

Here's the twist. Which ever one happens to sell first, I'm keeping the other one, unless someone want to buy both of them. I really don't care which one I end up with, I love both of them and they sound amazing, and they sound different enough from my current basses that keeping one around for a different sound makes sense. Feel free to make offers and PayPal is welcome. Shipping to Canada is cool, shipping anywhere else, hit me up. Thanks for looking!

Well, I did sell one. So, I'm planning on keeping the one I have left. I'm gonna go ahead and leave this open for a little while. If someone wants the other one, I may go ahead and let it go...

Thanks guys and gals!

I would love to know why I left that out of my last post, LOL! Getting old really sucks...Sorry about that.

I sold the Gunmetal. Still have the Trans Black. I'm planning on keeping the black one, but if someone REALLY wants it, we'll see.
