Excellent Canadian-made Dingwall Z3 in transparent black (looks purplish in some lighting, grayish in others, mostly black on stage). Fantastic condition but it is a player so it has some of the usual superficial marks, which I couldn't get to show in photos. It has some minor fretwear, and the volume pot is a bit scratchy.
If you're looking you probably already know that the fanned frets result in a multi-scale neck, from 34" on the G to a thunderous 37" on the B. Easy transition from traditional parallel-fret basses below the 12th fret. Above that will take a little longer, but it's worth it!
For the Dingwall players, the Z necks are thinner front to back than the ABs. To me the Z feels sleeker and faster. Also the Super Fatty pickups are wonderful.
