Vintage Univox Lectra Beatle style bass, late 60's or early 70's as far as I can tell. Made in Japan, short scale, old school thump machine.
Electronics could use a cleaning, but bass produces a lot of sound without cutting in and out; pots sometimes sound a bit scratchy when turning volume up.
The D string tuning key is loose on the post, but not detached; bass still tunes up just fine and the tuner doesn't rattle when played. From what I have learned, this was a fairly common issue on these basses.
I think there was a pickguard at one point, but it's gone.
The Univox logo badge is missing from the headstock.
Bass sounds thumpy and huge (currently strung with flats)through my AmpegV4 and my Aguilar TH 500.
No case, but I will pack solid.
$225 shipped conus . Thanks for looking!
