Original owner, originally listed in 2017, pulled out because I loved it too much. Now relisting, because [insert sad-but-true story about needing money more than bass].
For sale is about the best-sounding Ken Smith I've heard, and I've heard more than a few. The ash/walnut combination is spot-on.
Not "kind-of mint", it is MINT (see pics). It's a 2017, only rarely played out and not aggressively (not a slapper) so no visible wear.
Two nice upgrades: Mother-of-Pearl dot inlays, and (most importantly) graphite rods in the neck to increase stability and minimize dead spots. Very even-sounding all the way up and down the neck. Incredible playability, like every Smith I've tried.
Compare this like-new one with new Smiths price. Thanks for looking!
