2010 Dingwall Lee Sklar in Candy Apple Red. Dual density northern ash/alder body, 5 piece maple neck, wenge finger board, Super Fatty pickups, Glockenklang 9v preamp, drop tuner. Those of you that know these basses know how incredible they are, the superb tone and the feel and speed of this neck is second to none. The bass is in excellent condition with no dents or dings anywhere with the exception of one very small mark on the body near the treble knob (see pic). Bass comes in a custom molded hard case.

I saw this sklar and for some reason I wanted it defretted. I WAS tempted.

Well thanks for holding off. I really wanted it. Candy Apple red is a legendary colour from my youth so I'm pumped to have that colour I love and a great bass.

Oh it was only temptation. You had nothing to worry about from me as I'm pinching pennies for the build I'm in que for( like that's ever really stopped me before.lol) but for some reason it just jumped at me. Again congrats. Although your new colour scheme is a bit conspicuous eh? You don't drive a crown Vic by any chance do you? Ha.

No Crown Vic. Although those were a legendary car in my youth (when they were cool and not the go to cop car)
. I now have a red, white (natural wood) and blue Dingwall - very patriotic if I were American. But red and white for a Canadian patriot.
