Price Drop! Now $1000.00

I got this in a trade and it is practically brand new. My friend that I got it from ordered it directly from the Musicvox site and did not like the width of the neck when he received it, so it sat unplayed for a few months before I got it. Unfortunately, the neck is too wide for me also so I am moving this on. Comes with a gig bag, see pic below.

This is a bass for a big man with big hands that wants a big sound!

The only two blemishes are a scratch across the front of the headstock and a nick on the corner of the headstock on the bass side, both shown in the photos.

These list for $1600.00. I am asking $1000.00. Cash price is firm.
Trades considered for something of equal value. What have you got?

Things I would trade for.
Newer Fender Rumble 2 X 10 speaker cabs.

5 string Fender Jazz bass, black prefered but any colour really, any model, any condition, let's see what you have.

Maybe a project bass that needs a lot of work,
Ric 4001/4003. Gibson EBO, EB3, etc. A Thunderbird, or Ripper. Any Fender.

Would add cash for the right bass.

Anything else? I'm pretty open to almost anything at this point.

Would just like to put this in somebody's hands that would play it, and in return get something that I can use.

I live near Sacramento and would prefer to keep it local if I can. If not local, buyer pays shipping.

I use Paypal

Here is the link for the Musicvox site. musicvox instruments Check out the colour on the website photos. My photos don't really bring out the deep royal purple colour. Also, last time I checked they were sold out of this colour and won't be making any more.
Edit;
Just got an update on this bass from Matt Eichen himself. This is #2 out of only 2 that were made in this colour.

What is the nut width and what kind of neck profile? Neck dive?

Nut width is 2". At the 24th fret it's 2-3/4".

Spacing at the bridge is about 1/2" from each primary string to the next octave string.

The neck profile is a flattened out "D" shape.

Neck dive, of course, but not bad considering the size of the headstock and 8 tuners. On the 12's it's worse.
A wider strap would help with that. I was using a 2" wide one.

Check out the pics below. The Royal Purple color comes through a bit better on this set of pics.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

Thanks for the new pics. The colour looks real nice and the 2" nut width looks nice and roomy with extra fretboard space on the outside edges.

I had a Rickenbacker 4003W with a neck profile that was D-ish. Big shoulders but thin. I found out I need a rounder big fat C shape, or else my thumb cramps up.
