Financial reasons are pushing me towards reluctantly selling the last of my custom basses. And I've certainly saved the best for last. Up for sale is my Fodera custom-built Lincoln Goines signature bass. It has solid koa body wings, not just a koa top. Maple neck with ebony fret board. It also has a 5 piece neck as opposed to the 3-piece they make today. I think my favorite feature though is the 33" scale. Fodera puts the low b tuner at the end of the head stock, creating an amazing amount of tension resulting in an incredible low b string. Features include 19.0mm string spacing, Mike Pope 3-band preamp accessed via the control cavity. The control knob is a volume/tone stacked pot. I have been extremely careful with this bass and the only blemish I can find is a small scratch by the rear strap lock. Please see the attached picture. The bass comes with the original Fodera case. I have pictured the blemishes on the top of the case. It is in perfect working order with no rips or tears, however the lock has stopped working. Any questions, please ask. Buyer to pay shipping $75-$120 Continental US + insurance. I will ship to Canada but rates are likely to be higher. $5999 USD. I'm interested in the following in terms of trades + cash: Sadowsky NYC 4, Musicman Stingray Fretless and a Fender Custom Shop Jaco, or a Fender Custom Shop Pino Palladino plus cash. Preferences are given to a cash deal though. Here's a link to Fodera's current offering for the Goines bass: Lincoln Goines Signature Imperial
