Hi , up for sale is an excellent 2013 Gibson Thunderbird with Thunderbucker Ranch '66 pickups , Hipshot USA tuners , pearloid pickguard, and fret decals ( looks amazing , imo , but easily removed ). This bass plays and sounds fantastic. I don't feel any neck dive, either ! Just a beautiful bass , all around. I smashed my left index finger in a trailer hitch accident and need about 6 months of rehab. Great condition , hardship case , straps, straplocks are included. $1300 shipped Con US.

I have both pickups in different basses. The stock Gibson’s are darker, which isn’t always a bad thing. The ‘66 are more lively and clear, yet still pretty aggressive like a T Bird should be. The sellers bass, with those mods is a great bass at a very good price, IMO. It would cost a lot more to buy a Gibson and do those mods yourself for sure. Whoever gets this is gonna be a happy bass player :)

Thanks DOR .... I was just over on the tbird thread .... I have never owned one.
I would guess they are an easy swap if you wanted to do so.

The mid complexities of the Thunderbuckers are tough to beat. There's also a lot of depth in the tone. I doubt you'd want to swap them. Sounds flippin' amazing with a pick, too.
