I'm very on the fence here, because I just got this and it kills but I can't shake the itch for a Dingwall Super J 4.

Bass is in excellent condition but could use new knobs (see pic). Knobs work fine but new ones would clean up the look for sure. Everything else about this bass is great. I'm just a Dingwall loyalist. As such, I'm not interested in trades, and if the super J I'm scoping sells, I'll be hanging on to this.

Comes with generic gator case.

$1550 plus shipping ConUS.

How heavy is this bass?

And where are you located in Delaware? I am about 35 miles from Wilmington.

Absolutely! Mine has been my go-to passive bass for the last 15yrs...I've never owned a bass that gets more requests from engineers and band leaders. Whoever snags this won't be disappointed. GLWS!

I hear ya, weight can be a deal breaker. I do appreciate it in that jazz shaped basses around this weight tend to dive much less. Briefly owned a very nice callowhill that listed after the floor so badly I couldn't deal with it. Dingwall, otoh and ime, manages to make light weight basses that sit right where they're supposed to. Either way, I can live with this one, I've played lighter basses and heavier basses that haven't been nearly the tool this thing is.
