Up for sale is my brand new Fender Original Series 60's Jazz Bass in Candy Apple Red. This bass is new! Plastic is still on the pickguard! I’ve played it for about 1 hour max. Comes with the original Fender crushed red velvet case and all the case candy. Weight is 8.7lbs on my bathroom scale. Just us it set up as well and it has a clean bill of health.
Full disclosure, when I received the bass brand new from the factory there is a hairline crack in the clear coat finish on the back of the headstock. It is only in the clear coat. It runs from low E tuning peg to the edge. It is very thin and barely noticeable. It does not effect playability or the integrity of the bass itself, but it is worth nothing and I have adjusted the price to reflect this. Please see the photo.
