This is an early 82 G&L Wunkay in trans red over poplar (I believe...) very transitional, with the chrome control plate and the smooth black bridge. Looks to be all original,including the Slot pole pickup (my faves!)
Plays great and sounds killer. Got some cosmetic issues (a few dings, missing paint, munged-up finish on the back — pix tell the story). But the good news is that it’s a lightweight at 8.5 lbs, frets in good shape, neck straight and action set at factory spec 3/16” with the Neck Tilt all the way out.
Comes with the G&L embroidered gig bag, or upgrade to a MM case for an extra $50.
