I am offering for sale, my favorite bass, a beautiful Custom P/J made by my dear friend Pat Wilkins. Pat will be making me a new Medium scale bass because of some joint issues that I'm having in my left hand. I really hate to let this one go! It's the nicest bass I've ever owned and it is in Immaculate condition and has been pretty much a "safe queen" rarely played. Pat's work is legendary and this bass is one of his finest builds, it sounds, looks
and feels amazing! Note: I do wish to keep the sale Local, I'm in the Los Angeles area.
Here are the specs:
Body: Chambered Honduras Mahogany with a Big Leaf Maple top.
Finish: '59 Burst.
Neck: "C" shaped Maple with a Birdseye Maple Headstock cap.
Fretboard: African Ebony with vintage frets. 1.5" at the nut and 7.25" classic radius.
Pickups: Lindy Fralin "P" with (+5) Split "J". Controls VVT.
Hardware: Hipshot type "A" Bridge and Ultralite tuners.
This bass comes with a Levy's Leather trimmed Gig Bag in "As new" condition.
