** Upgraded with Tone Monster SEB-2 preamp (bass and treble boost/cut, gain control). This preamp is the equal of the TonePump found in Euro models, IMO.
Dunlop Dual strap locks, EB Cobalt flatwound strings.
Controls: Master Vol, balance, bass boost and cut, treble boost and cut.
After purchase, I removed an oval jackplate and replaced it with a Electrosocket jack. See photo for reference. I used maple dowel to plug the screw holes. Also replaced the strings with EB Cobalt flats, and the tepid ToneDump Jr. with an SEB-2. Much better playing instrument now, IMO.
