For sale Miura MB-2

Miura MB-2 5 string bass. Excellent, essentially brand-new condition. Sage green metallic, "roasted" flame maple fingerboard, alder body. This is a wonderful instrument, with very easy playability, versatile Jazz bass-ish sounds, and well-balanced. Weighs in at 8.8 lbs. on my digital scale. The workmanship on this bass is the best I have ever seen, literally flawless. Aguilar pickups and preamp, controls are volume, pan, passive tone, bass-mid-treble cut and boost, mid frequency selector, and active/passive. The builder, Hiro Miura, founded Xotic Guitars, and this bass reflects much of the design philosophies found in those instruments. It has lived exclusively in my practice room, using it to record some tracks. Having 15 bass guitars, some need to go, and being a high-value axe, it is one that must go. Condition is 10 out of 10.
