Details

Very nice Carrigan Designs hand made bass. If you're not familiar with James Carrigan, his website is carrigandesigns.com . If you like a nice, clear, awesome B string, look no further! The 36" scale does the trick. Not hard to play though, and lightweight, definitely under 10 lbs. If you want an exact weight, I'll get it. Has Nordstrand dual-coil pickups with coil-splitting switches. It's a very nice bass, and I've enjoyed playing it, but I've been playing my modded Schecter exclusively for a couple of years now. Neck is kind of a thin D shape. Everything works as it should. Comes with a nice ESP gig bag.

$850.00 shipped, or $800 if you're in San Diego and want to pick it up.

Cool bass. Can the strings move laterally within the nut slots? From the picture is looks like there might be some extra space in there.

I'll look at it when I get home from work. It does look pretty wide in the pics, but I never had any trouble with it.

OK, I came home and took a look. Yes, you can move the strings in the slots a little if you try. However, since it has a zero fret, it doesn't make much difference. I don't see how it would happen during normal playing.
