Details

This has been my go-to bass for the better part of almost 10 years. Sound is amazing, well balanced, low action and super easy playability. Selling because my palate seems to have embraced 19mm string spacing. You can adjust the bridge to 19mm (I’ve done it) but I really wouldn’t recommend it pending your personal playing style.

Bass has a lacquer finish I believe but I know absolutely nothing about finishes – see photos!

One ding on top of the whaleback “hump” in photo below.

Comes in ProTec case.

Are those the original pickups and electronics and Is the ramp removable?

More updates. Seems the ramp is on with double sticky tape and not hard to remove at all :-)

Also confirmed the the top is indeed the cocobolo family of rosewood...

Thanks for all the PMs but still up for sale/trade.

Hi everyone, this was back on the market. The trade actually fell through and I wound up stringing it E-A-D-G-C and doing some solo studio work.

It seems that if I’m going to use a high C I would rather just play one of my 6-string basses so putting this back up for sale/trade.

WOW! Awesome Skjold! That's even lighter than my Mahogany 5-string Skjold!

Great question 2GodBGlory! The easy answer is "no" if you mean sweepable pickup blend. There is a 4 way blend knob but I can't say I really understand what each of the 4 positions are except the 1st (neck) and 4th (bridge). Sorry I can't be more helpful.
