Original owner of this custom Frog Maruszczyk headless 5-String. Received it in January and used it on roughly 7-8 gigs. That’s enough time for me to know if a bass is a fit or not. Sadly, this one just doesn’t work for me BUT it’s ME not the bass. Wonderful instrument, well built, lightweight (less than 9.5 lbs), versatile and a stunner! It’s just a little too modern and hi-fi sounding for me. I have become a passive and JBass kinda dude nowadays... Ash body, 3 piece hard rock maple neck, padouk fretboard, bassculture pickups, 3-way pup switch (series, single coils, parallel), 2 band (bass & treble) Delano preamp (amazing preamp, no need for mids IMO), active/passive push pull, 18mm spacing, matte finish with 24 frets.
