All I know ! That yes these basses are underrated! Sounds amazing! Literally mint and had be babied so the price is including shipped and insured and PayPal . :) just sayin

This is pre-neck volute which I believe makes it all hand made back in Germany. Question for all the Warwick peeps, does that make it one of the "golden era" basses?? I have a 1991 Streamer very similar to this one, and always wondered what constituted a "golden era" Warwick. I can attest to the quality and feel of this era of Warwick. The neck is very thin and comfortable compared to the thicker "ballbat" necks of the 2000's.

Anything from the "so thin they backbow crazy if you take 1/4 turn out of the trussrod" era I consider Golden.
I remember Warwicks had a reputation for necks that'd twist or crack if you didn't maintain them properly...hence the gigantic baseball bat.

These things are seriously playable, thinner than a Spector of the era.

I was all stoked when the BO's came out when I was in high school but those necks started down that big ol handful profile.

Man, I've always wanted one of these. Not my first choice on wood tops, as i prefer the darker wood for streamers sound. But just personal taste.
This is a good price for the condition its in. Im scratching my head as to why its still here.
Is there anything hand written or on a sticker that says that the FB is Wenge? (would be for CITES purposes, to them it would look Rosewood)

Thanks

You’re right it’s rosewood . My mistake I have many basses with wenge and I dont know why I put wenge. Perhaps I was thinking of my One of my mtd with wenge. I’ll correct it. Thanks !

Nice Streamer! BTW, that is a Wenge fingerboard, not Rosewood. I have honestly never seen a Warwick from the early nineties that had a Rosewood fingerboard. Wenge fingerboard was standard. :)

Haha man I’m so confused I assume your are right . I don’t have the specs sheet but to me it’s look like wenge , but some claim it’s rosewood. All I know it’s a 1990 and made in Germany.
