Unfortunately, due to bills from my ongoing divorce, I am going to have to let my number one go. This is a EB Musicman Cutlass bass with an alder body and a maple neck. It’s in great shape, with just some ultra-fine wear on the pickguard around the pickup from anchoring my thumb. I absolutely love this bass and I’m very sorry to see it go. If I had any other way to get the funds, I wouldn’t be selling it.

This is the best playing bass I’ve owned since my Fodera Monarch. I have the action set low, with a perfectly straight neck, and playability is nothing short of awesome. It’s currently set up with a new set of Fodera .40-.100 nickel wound strings that are barely broken in. The tone and playability is perfectly even across, as well as up and down the neck. This bass also has the best stock fretjob of any factory made bass I’ve owned. The vintage style frets really aid in playability.

It has that wonderful P-bass tone with added beefiness from the thick Musicman style pole-pieces. I’ve been able to get some really great tones just by altering my right hand technique and placement. The added beefiness really helps when playing fast lines by the bridge, it really fills the tone out.

Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass Bass - Ivory White

Price: $1199 plus shipping in a EBMM hard shell case. This is just a little over half price for bass that’s seen very little actual use. It seems the case is labeled for a Stingray, but it holds the Cutlass nice and tight with no room for it to move at all.
