LAST PRICE DROP 1991 Peavey Foundation Five String. Has the coveted Super Ferrite’s that give this bass an amazing Jazz Bass like tone. Also has a professionally done S-1 switch mod for a thicker meaner tone. An amazing variety of tones available from this passive bass. In standard mode pots are V, V, T.. In S1 mode V, center is by bypassed, third is T. All pots, wiring and jack were replaced a couple of years ago and the backing place has been copper insulated. Neck is straight, has micro tilt adjustment and truss rod turns both ways. Very low action set up by local luthier. 16.5 string spacing. A few marks and light scratches , but no major nicks or gouges. Pretty clean for a bass of it’s age. These are simply amazing USA made playing and sounding basses for the money really. Amazing playing and sounding regardless. 9 lbs on my bathroom scale and nut is 1 3/4”. Ships with new strings. Great bass, I am just not playing fives anymore. Now $3O0 shipped!
