I own the green one. Has Aguilar opb-3 preamp. It has remained in perfect condition as at time of purchase a few days ago. It is NOT an example of perfect
finish, but is a well done bass and, quite frankly, far, far better than the red one, which I played several times a couple of months ago. This one has absolutely
no damage and is as it came from the dealer who had it. It's a pretty green and a very serviceable bass that plays well.
I would say that it is not the answer to prayers, cosmetically, but at the
original price, was a pretty good bass and would have been more than competitive, , if the surface finish issues (small blemishes, etc that show under lighting)could have been addressed.
I like it and am interested in it's provenance...that makes it special to me. As a player, it's a nice bass, but
others are nicer. I happen to really like the neck shape and finish.
Other than my Wife and dog, nothing I have is so special that I would not consider selling at the right price. I will not ship out of CONUS unless special
arrangements are made for payment and shipping: I am not going to sell a bass that gets held up for lack of CITES certificate unless the buyer assumes all responsibility.
