Up for sale is a Demeter Bass 400 amp in excellent condition. I really love this amp, but cannot afford to keep all of the gear that I have for the limited amount of gigging that I am doing these days.
Fantastic little amp, don't let the 400 watts @ 4 ohms fool you - this little 8 lb beast is clear and loud! Has a variable sensitivity control built into the circuit board; when I first got the amp the output was a little low for my old P-Bass and upright w/piezo, but I adjusted it and can shake the walls. It might need to be readjusted if using an active and/or high-output bass.
Hand wired in the USA using High quality components, DC filament, full 220V high voltage supply. Built in the USA in the Demeter Barn in Templeton CA. Demeter stuff is top-of-the-line gear for an affordable price.
Rather than clutter up this listing with all of the specs, here is a link to Demeter's description of this amp on their website:
Bass 400
This one has the standard line level DI, not the Jensen mic level option (adds $200 to purchase price) but my sound guy says that the signal from it is just fine.
I hate to see this go, but know that some lucky TBer will find a good home for it.
Firm sale price of $725 shipped to CONUS; not interested in any trades as I'm thinning the herd, not adding to it!
Pictures coming shortly - no marks or dings, works flawlessly. Looks just like brand new, like this one from Demeter site:
PM me with any questions.
