Details

Let's be honest - this bass has led a hard life. My g/f picked it up for me at a seaside swap meet and it looks like this bass has spent some time in salty air. It also had jacked up electronics - someone tried to bypass the active electronics and failed. I downloaded a wiring diagram and rewired it back to its original signal path. The jack could still use a little help, maybe?

The truss rod cover is off in these pics but will be included.

Playable, light, unique looks, unusual sound (combination of a traditional humbucker and piezos in the mono-rail bridges) - if you're looking at this post, you already know what's up with these basses.

US shipping only, PayPal only. Cash will be accepted in conjunction with a local in-person pickup. No case, no gig bag. You pay shipping.

How is the action? Truss rod? Does it play ok?
The action is not super low, but is on the low end of "medium", I guess you could say? There is a bit of back-bow in it at the moment which results in a little bit of fret buzz here and there. It was nearly unplayable due to high action when I got it, but I tweaked the truss rod and saddles to get it much closer to where it ought to be.

Could still use more fine-tuning and the bass is capable of further adjustment. Bridges and truss rod still in working condition.

I miss my edb one of the best underrated basses out there,
If I were playing a lot of gigs, I would probably keep this as it's light to wear for a long time, has a narrow, fast neck and is visually striking. It would be the perfect bass for a Prince tribute band! But, since I am playing zero gigs and focused primarily on recording, I don't really need it.

So when you say it's been exposed to salty air does that mean it may have a little rust? And should I pm you if I'm interested?

Looks like it could be cleaned up with a bit of elbow grease. In that pic of the fretboard is there rust there on the string?

Nope. New strings. The strings that came on it were rusted, but I changed them immediately.
