With unpadded covers and speaker stand mounts (they are great for PA as well as bass)
and in excellent condition. Just 28 lbs a piece but tone and volume for days. Bulletprooof
too. Selling because I no longer have the need to move lots of air and I am overstocked with gear. Pix on request. $350 per cab plus actual shipping cost or $20 less per cab for local pickup.

These are Series III and in excellent condition. They are also, I had forgotten, 4 OHMS. Driving one is not an issue. But driving 2 takes 2 ohm amp capacity. My Acoustic Image head does it with ease...as does my Yamaha...as did my Thunderfunk. There is a real advantage to lower ohmage, particularly with low efficiency speakers like Acme. But you gotta have the grunt!

Opinionated blowhard. But not mad about it.

Ever drive them with a tube head?

Wondering how they might do with an SVT.
Mine is finished at Mad Science Works and I may have to come meet with you when I pick it up....

Based on one PM'd question, I should add that these cabs want at least 200-250 watts per cab to
really sing. They are not ported which makes for more accurate sound (particularly with the three-driver array,
including a midrange) but ups the need for a bit of grunt. But my class D Acoustic Image amp drives
them with ease.

Was this a special order with no port? Mine has a big long port near the handle. Its tuned really deep. I hit it with a streamliner 900 which can do 500 watts to 8 ohms and it sounds magnificent! I wish these were 8 ohms. Good luck with the sale!!

Getting more questions on power requirements. The bottom line is that Acme says that one of these boxes needs an amp with 200+ watts to really sing. Not a high barrier and the 4 ohm rating (not a problem for almost all amps) makes it even easier because the lower the cab resistance, the more power your amp puts out. If you want to drive two boxes, your amp will need to be able to drive 2 ohms. If yours does (I have three that do), you are golden.
