I have owned this earwig for about 5 years but I have not used it very much in the past 2 years which is why I am selling this one. I have used it for practice. It's small and takes a 9V battery which lasts a good long time.
The owner/builder named Enea hails from Canada. He still sells these though they look different and they come with a $90 price tag.
Here's an overview: The only thing that is different is the on off function. The guy in the video shows a knob that turns things on and off. The one that I have for sale turns on once you plug in an instrument or the headphone jack. It powers off when both plugs are removed. No switches.
I have never tried it with an MP3 player or i-pod. I did try it with a CD player plugged in and it didn't work so well. Enea told me it wouldn't.
