I have an as new 2014 G&L LB100, swamp ash body, rosewood board. It weighs just under 9 lbs, maybe a little less. Comes in the original G&L hardshell case. PLays and works perfectly, low action and zero issues.
I would like to trade for a bass in similar condition.....US Basses by Rickenbacker, Fender, G&L or Music Man.... will consider others 4 or 5.
