Details

1980s Fender Bassman 135 bass amp, with its cover. Excellent condition. No issues.
4 ohm / rated at 135 watts.

4 x 6L6s (Winged Cs). Recapped professionally about 3 years ago. Mated with efficient speakers, I think this is a killer sounding amp, and loud enough for most medium-sized rooms.
Fender Silverface Bassman (Super, 100, 135) – Ampwares

(The 135s of the early 1980s (up to 1983?) had black face-plates, but this is not the same as a "blackface era" Fender amp of the 1960s. It's merely cosmetic).

$600.00, no trades. Local sale only please: Maryland/District of Columbia/Nor.Virginia.
Thanks for looking!

This looks to be in great condition! Any idea how it would compare to the output of a Bassman 100T? I have a newish Fender neo 4x10 which my 100T drove very well.

Unfortunately, I've never played through a 100T, so I wouldn't be able to answer your question. I would imagine however the ultra-linear transformer of the 135 would keep a cleaner signal than the 100T.

How is this not sold!!! This amp is a steal of a deal. It's full tube, you can jump the channels for more grit and volume, though it does stay very clean. More power than I ever knew what to do with in a bar band. Classic looks. If you are thinking of wanting to try a Bassman sound, this will not disappoint.

FYI, I would play a version of this head with an Avatar Neo 2x12 4 ohm. without cranking the volume past 5. I once played my head with my custom 2x15 at an outdoor show at the Piazza in Philly with 0 PA support. Don't let he wattage fool you, this amp is kick @$$.

Thanks man, I suspect it's the "no shipping" aspect if the deal. I use mine with a Schroeder 2x15. It does kick some azz.

Believe me, I have considered that many times. I vacillate between keeping it and selling it. I'm not pushing the sale very hard, so if I don't sell it, that would be okay.
Nice cab. I bet that sounds great.
Thanks, wasn't trying to crash your thread, just to let someone know, what an awesome deal you are offering. GLWS!
