This is a rare beauty...and the only Jazz pickup version I have found in years.
Check out this awesome and rare 2008 Modulus Flea / Funk Unlimited Jazz 4 (You will not find another Funk Unlimited with Jazz Pickups just ones with a single humbucker). It is loaded with 2 Bartolini Jazz pickups and 2 band Bartolini preamp. This bass is a beast - very versatile sounding (mores than the standard FU4), plays smooth, and is sweet looking to boot (love the 2 tone sunburst, never seen another Modulus with this finish). It also has a BadAss II bridge (tone and sustain for days).
A new one with these options would be well over $4000. This one is in great condition with light players wear, a very small ding that was touched up by the back control plate and very very thin clear coat area missing on neck about 3/4"× 1/4" which has been professionally fixed. There was no ding, dent or any damage at all on the neck, it looks like it was rubbed off and now clear coat was applied in that section,buffed and covers the area. I have included a pic that shows the place on the neck before the repair. The clear coat was only a tenth of the thickness of a piece of paper so it was an easy fix.
This one has the truss rod with super low action and no fretwear. You can't hardly find these anywhere. Every thing works perfect on this bass. Comes with a hard case. Only selling because I've gotten into Vintage P basses lately.
Will only consider partial trades for a Moollon P IV or Classic Jazz 4, Celinder Classic P or Jazz. Might also consider older Lakland 44-64s / 44-60s or a Noble bass preamp.
