It's an newer version that's all solder-less. It's wired with the concentric Bass/Treble controls, Master Volume, Blend and Passive Tone*. (*The J set came with a solider-less Passive Tone, so I added it to this system for more versatility.) Since it's solder-less, you can remove any component you may not need: if you have 1 pickup, remove the blend. 4 hole available on your bass, remove the Passive Tone, etc. I have a set of knobs that I will include.
