Hey Y'all,
One of the types of bass I find very comfortable (which is rare for me) and lots of fun are 23" scale uke basses. As a result I tend to churn through them periodically and I have a couple of extras that I don't find myself playing much:
#1) This is a Gold Tone solidbody fretted microbass (MEbass) ***SOLD***

I find that these seem to have a bit better construction than the less expensive ones (Hadean, Savannah) - better bridge design, nicer wood, fit&finish. And definitely a nicer gig bag. I'm not as big a fan of the electronics - I find it needs more external EQ to be usable than the others (including the hollowbody equivalent Gold Tones), but they do only require a 9v battery and not a pair of CR2302s which makes it easier to deal with IMO. The thinner solid body is much more comfortable than the wider acoustic ones. Although it doesn't have any upper horn I don't have neck dive problems with it on a strap.
I bought this one used and it shows some wear - primarily some chips in the headstock (see the pics). The electronics are also noisy/buzzy with the tone all the way up - but it doesn't bother me as I find that I have to roll the tone all the way off anyway to get a usable tone with the piezo & polymer strings. The strings show a fair amount of wear - plenty of dents, etc. but they hold tune and sound like Thunderguts.
One other advantage to the solidbody over the hollowbodies is that it is much easier to change out strings as you have easy access to the holes in the body they go through.

#2) is a Savannah STB-700F Lightning fretless (I think that's the right name/model)

This one I ordered brand new and it's still in like new condition. It does have neck dive as-is - I use a "thingy" that lets you attach your strap at the headstock (made for acoustic guitar) and voila, no neck dive on a strap. It does come with a gig bag (not as nice as the ones the Gold Tones ship with).
If you are familiar with the Hadean UKBE 22-33s this seems to have the same/very similar electronics. Output is huge and with the bass & treble controls I can get a tone that works with just some amp eq (not as much offboard EQ needed as the Gold Tone). 9v battery. Side dots are between the fretlines (like a fretted bass) but the fretline edges are visible on the side of the neck.
I don't have pics of this actual bass at this point - I'll get some at some point (let me know if you want to see them and that will motivate me to get them faster) but it looks just like the stock pics.

I like them both, I just don't use them and am trying not to accumulate/hoard things I don't use.
