Thanks for looking!!!! Please send any questions, offers etc. thru PM as I will be listing a handful of Warwick basses, and don't want to clutter the thread, or miss any interest in the bass as well. Thanks in advance!!!!!!
Here we have a Warwick 2003 Corvette FNA Jazzman 5 string bass for sale. First, some info from Warwick:
Produced: 04-24-2003
Corvette FNA Jazzman 5 String
Finish: Honey Violin Oil Finish
Swamp Ash/ A Flamed
Maple Top Body
Ovangkol Neck
Wenge Fretboard
3 Band MEC Preamp/ MEC Pickups
Bass weighs in at 10.2 pounds on my bathroom scale. I just installed some Galli Roundwound strings on the bottom four strings (didn't have a 5 string set). Setup is good. Electronics sound great. Great variety of tones with the 3 band preamp. I took a pic of what each knob does and included it with the other pics.
The bass has a slight separation on top of the bass. It's been like that since it was made from what the previous owner told me. It hasn't gotten any worse over time. Doesn't affect anything at all, just cosmetic, and doesn't affect playing it. Just wanted to make sure I described the bass accurately.
I took pics as well.
This bass has been played for sure. I took pics of the body everywhere. Nothing major in my opinion, just those soft Warwick finishes make it easy to make impressions here and there. Look at pics for examples.
Also, the frets have wear, where it has been played. Mostly on the E and A strings is where it is the most, and on the first thru 5th frets being the worst. Definitely NOT a closet classic lol. But, even with the wear, the bass intonates perfectly, and each note produces the exact note as it is supposed to. I checked up and down the fretboard.
Bass will come with a Warwick gig bag.
The bass really sounds amazing. I hate to let it go but need to thin the herd, as I stated before.
Asking $1200 or best offer. Please PM if you want to discuss price of the bass.
USA Shipping only, PayPal preferred. Thanks for looking and God Bless!!!
Also, I can get more specific pics of anything if needed.
