This bass is very gently used. I purchased it to take on airplanes like I did with my 4-string but stopped playing my 5-string basses a few years ago and never took this one up in the air. It was never played out, kept in a smoke-free home, has almost zero fret wear, and includes the patented flip-out leg rest for playing while sitting (works extremely well). It has no significant scratches (some very fine scratches from normal use – not easily seen except for super close-up), and no nicks or dents, etc. I am including the original gig bag, and the original hex wrenches.
This guitar is perfect for traveling musicians. I have a 4-string version that I bring on airplanes all the time. While the size makes it perfect for travel and hotel practicing, the EMG-driven live sound is outstanding. Great tone.
