I learned on a '74 Jazz too, and just bought an AVRI similar to this one. Nice U profile neck that I haven't seen an anything newer, feels great. New owner will really love this one.

fine print: and now has a scroll bridge but comes with original bridge also. 9lbs

Mine is just under 8lbs...they seem to run on the light side.

Bass is in excellent condition as not mint and my guess it's a 2013.
