I'm mad at myself for even considering this as I told myself I'd never let this go. Probably the best playing bass I've ever owned, but my main gig requires my main bass to be my Warwick Corvette 6. I've owned Spector Euro's, Rebops, Legends and NS2000/4's.....and this has been the one that I kept.
The NS2004's boast:
+Curved Maple body with figured maple top.
+Neck Thru Maple neck
+Rosewood fingerboard
+ Dot inlays (I've added the crown decals and they look/feel fantastic)
+34" Scale
+EMG HZ pickups (I've upgraded to proper active EMG's. 35CS Neck, 35DC Bridge)
+Active 2way preamp. (I've updgraded to the 3band EMG BQC with sweepable mids)
+Brass nut
+Spector locking bridge
+ I added Dunlop Straplocks
+ I think they call this color either Smokey Sea or Peacock Blue
This thing is an absolute tone monster with tons of beef and clarity. I use this in my current band for the drop tuned set, but it's tonally too different from my Warwick and I have to mess with the EQ too much.
So...i'd like to trade mostly for another Warwick. Either for a Active 4 string German Corvette/Thumb (if you're feeling generous) or maybe.....maybe....maybe.....one of the newer Rockbass Fortress or Streamer NT1.
I'd prefer a trade, but I could be persuaded to sell, but I couldn't let it go for a steal. These normally sell for about $600 stock, and I know I won't get my money back for the $400+ in upgrades I put in to it. Let's call it $750.
I'd prefer to not have to add cash on my end, but I could also offer up my Aria acoustic fretless bass as trade fodder as well.
