****Please PM me if you have offers for the bass.... thanks in advance!!!!****

Thanks for looking!!!! Major sale/trade feeler here. You are looking at a 1990 Warwick Streamer Stage 1 five string bass in the glossy French Violet color. Original brass nut with string height adjustment for each string. Bartolini electronics that just kill. This thing is a beauty, plays amazing, and sounds just as good!!!
Like most older Warwicks, it may have a ding or impression here and there, but overall in very good shape
When I first bought the bass here on TB, it had some issues, but my luthier took care of everything, dialed it in, and it has been a beast since!!!!
He found problems with the first 2 frets on the G string side of the bass. The first fret was raised up really bad, and the second was, but not quite as bad. He was able to knock the 2nd fret back down to a good level, but the 1st had to be completely taken out. He had tools to shape it better and cleaned the fret good, along with sanding out the fretboard and cleaning the slot out real well. Glued the fret back in and clamped it down in place good.
Also, the 4 adjustment screws in the bridge, were not the right screws, and had to be replaced. They were way too long. Finally got that taken care of with the correct size screws, and it is good to go. Cleaned and polished the frets, and did a fantastic setup on it, and it has stayed that way since.
He also found a ground wire that needed soldered as well.
Just wanted to be up front about the bass. No issues now. It is a great bass for sure, and very much a perfect example of the older quality of the older Warwick basses.

Why am I selling/trading??? I have so many Warwicks, and I love them all, but have found myself playing my 4 string basses so much more lately. Simple as that. This one deserves to be played, not sitting on a stand or in a case.
Again, please PM with any offers on the bass. Asking $2,200 shipped, or best offer, in the USA only please. Shipping elsewhere can be discussed though. PayPal preferred.

As far as trades, I might take a cheaper bass plus cash, or I can add cash for a more expensive bass. But cash is king for sure!!!

Trade interest (in no certain order):
Warwick Basses (German only)
G&L Basses (any)
Sadowsky Basses
What else ya got???? Feel free to offer anything; worst I can do is say no, and I will do it politely..

Let me know of you have questions. Thanks again for looking and God Bless!!!!

I really wish I could afford this right now.

If I did, you'd have a pocket full of money and I'd be grinning like a crazy person.
You are right brother!!!! I don't know who ends up with this, but someone will be very, very happy!!!!

Lovely! What is the weight is this one? Any chance you know the spacing at the bridge? Thanks
Thanks!!! I know by my digital bathroom scale, which is very accurate, weighed it six consecutive times, says 12 pounds.
I don't know about the string spacing.... It should be the same as any other Stage One bass... Maybe somebody can chime in. I know it is adjustable too. I am not home right now to check.
12 pounds sounds like a lot, and is for a lot of people. But it doesn't feel like 12 pounds. Balances really well and with my Mono Betty strap, is easy to play. Hope this all helps!!!

Great bass hear folks, someone should jump on this one. Balance is much more important than weight, but since back surgery I need something on the lighter side and well balanced. Absolutely love the color/finish!

Some Stage 1's are standard Warwick spacing of 16.5mm, some have Broadnecks and are 20mm spacing. This appears to be the latter.
Thank you brother. I just got home tonight, so I will do my best to check tmrw and update the thread with the info.
