I have too many bills and too many basses so I need to sell this absolutely beautiful bass. I purchased it from this thread which has some great pictures:
SOLD - G&L Kiloton 5 - Blackburst - 2018 - Excellent Condition - 7.5 lbs!
The body wood is empress with a flamed maple cap that looks killer through the black burst finish. I played it at a band practice and recorded it. It sounds like this with D'Addario Chromes Stings on it (It will ship with DR Hi-Beams which give it more highs):
It is super light at 7.825 lbs measured on a postal scale (see picture below). I have a bad shoulder so I modify all of my basses with 2 flush mount straplocks on the back as pictured below. This lets me use a slinger strap:

This puts all of the weight on my hips. It is brilliant...I can play for hours with no pain at all. The strap lock sockets are out of sight when you are playing and it completely eliminates neck dive which this bass doesn't have anyways. One of the strap lock sockets very slightly cracked the finish which you can almost see in the picture with a dime next to the crack. It follows the curve of the strap lock (about 1/2 way around) so it is hard to see.
Bass comes with the original hard shell case and case candy. It is in almost new condition. the pick guard is a little bit scuffed. I don't see any dings or scratches. I got a good deal so I'm passing it forward. $1100 + shipping Firm Paypal or cash is fine Would love a local deal, but I do have the shipping box.
