Selling a set of used Sadowsky Hum Cancelling 4 string jazz bass pickups.
Electronically they test within new spec: Neck 7.77 ohms, Bridge 7.66 ohms.
No shorts or issues and lots of wire remains.
Inner poles are slightly raised to maintain equal string height.
Physically the covers show wear on the plastic but no damage or cracks.
Lots of speculation about who winds Sadowsky pickups. I do know that the inside of the pickup covers has Dimarzio molded in. Also, the specs and configuration are quite similar to Dimarzio Area J's. Dimarzio describes their version as being designed to sound as close as possible to vintage J bass tone in a hum cancelling format. Sadowsky probably tweaks this a bit, but the Dimarzio description certain sounds like it would also fit the "Sadowsky tone".
Asking $150 or best reasonable offer. Shipping is included to lower 48 and PayPal is preferred. Not really interested in any trades.
