I am listing my Fender American Elite Jazz bass and would like to share why.... I bought this 6 months ago from GC for $1800, excited beyond belief that I finally bought my dream bass! It has sat in my house un-played and virtually untouched as I am still finding my way after 1 year of starting my hobby. I m 56 years old and started playing about a year ago with NO idea of what I was doing, and had NO clue of what I liked or didn't like, just knew I had to have that US Fender baby! I have found that I am a short scale bass guy with smaller hands that are also a bit arthritic! This is a beautiful instrument that needs a home. It was purchased in June of 2018, it has a 2017 SN- Guitar Center is awesome-NOT! But either way was brand new with all of the plastic covers and candy associated with a brand new buy. The case is awesome and standard with these basses, all the paperwork shown is coming with it. I will ship to the CONUS the same day I receive the funds and know they are cleared. I have just purchased 2 Birdsong short scales that I love, and am rebuilding a MIM Mustang for fun, the engineer in me. I would love to move this but am NOT taking offers. It is what it is and someone is going to get a sweet Bass from a reliable old guy who lives in a smoke and pet free home. I would consider a trade for a new Spector Bantam Short scale or Birdsong-please PM with offers. Please ask questions and I will try to answer ASAP-thanks for looking!
