Just recently received this Thumb bass as a purchase to try out a Thumb 5. It’s an amazingly beautiful instrument and it plays great, but I quickly learned Thumb basses are not really my thing. So here it is back up for sale ready to go to someone who loves Thumbs!
Everything on this bass is completely original except for an 18v conversion to add more of that bass booty! EMG pickups and original 2-band pre with the wiring maintained and cleaned up. When I got it, I waxed it, sent it up, and strung it up with a fresh set of DR’s. It’s ready to go!! The Bubinga on this bass is completely stunning!
