This bass is only one of two known of this prototype. Dates from 2016. I bought it new from Guitar City Drumland, who are known for their close relationship with Schecter because of their high volumes for the company.
The bass was originally configured with EMG HZ humbuckers, which to me sounded muddy, like a Gibson Thunderbird, (no offense intended!).
I switched them out for the lovely sounding Seymour Duncan New York City Jazz, found in high end basses such as Fodera. Much better to my ear.
Although the bass is made in South Korea, at World Musical Instrument Company, Schecter basses are set up in the USA. This is the same factory that makes the following brands:
B.C. Rich, Chapman, Dean, Gretsch, LTD, Line6, PRS SE, Schecter...etc.
You would think from a close examination it was custom made, the attention to detail and quality is amazing!
Set 3 piece mahogany neck and body, bound fingerboard, high mass bridge, Schecter's own tuners. Plexiglass Knobs.
Due to the versatility of the Seymour Duncan pickups and complexity of the wiring, I had "Mad Hatter" Guitar products create their Terminator Custom DVST-JJ solderless electronic package for the volume/volume/tone with two mini toggle switches. Why?
This configuration allows Series/Split/Parallel options for the pickups, hot roddin'!!!!
There are no blemishes or fret wear, other than where I moved the straplock button to the upper horn. For the sale, I returned to Gibson's preferred location.
Bass will ship in a brand new Gig bag.

Neck pickup: Series/Split/Parallel Tone at zero
Bridge pickup: Series/Split/Parallel Tone at zero
Both pickups: Series/Split/Parallel Tone at zero, then tone at ten
