Thank you for looking at my ad for this 2006 Modulus Q5. I have traded and sold several basses here on Talkbass, and have done over 50 high end basses on Ebay over the years.
This bass is in immaculate condition. As the title says- 2006 build- this bass would make most new basses on the wall of your local GC look shabby. Who ever owned it never took it out of the case.
The finish front and back is perfect- no scratches, nicks or buckle rash. The picture of the back of the bass shows the original plastic still on the control cavity cover. When I acquired this bass a couple of years back I had some issues with the electronics so I sent it back to the Modulus folks to get it sorted out. They installed a new Bartolini NTMB pre-amp and set the bass up. It came back perfect- you will not be disappointed when you see this bass.
Bass is sporting a new set of DR True Blues, plays great and sounds great. My reason for selling is I have my eye on another and can only justify having so much money hanging on the wall of my studio. Bass will ship in the original Modulus hard case and will be packed, shipped and insured by UPS, I will pay shipping to a buyer in the CONUS.
Please feel free to reach out if you require any additional pictures or information. As far as potential trades- I might consider a really pristine Mike Lull MV5 with a 35"scale. Hit me up if you have some other different ideas.
This bass now retails on the Modulus website for $6745- you literally won't be able to tell this one from a brand new one.
