Here is a beautiful Fender Standard Jazz Bass neck. This neck has been my rock for awhile. It's solid, straight, reliable, plays fast, sounds amazing, and has been expertly set up. The only reason that I am selling is to cover the cost of a maple/maple neck that I just got a great deal on. If you need a dependable neck that plays at Custom Shop-level, then you are in luck....Below are the details:
- 2002 model year (MIM)
- Maple with rosewood, NOT pau ferro! The rosewood is stunning; deep and rich-looking
- Incredibly stable neck. The truss rod works great in both directions, but you'll likely never need to use it.
- Pro set up: Frets perfectly level, nut work spot-on, rolled edges, and arrow-straight.
- Frets are in great shape and have lots of life in them.
- Condition estimated to be around 9 out of 10. There are a few minor dings or scratches here and there, but nothing to write home about.
- Edit: Neck weight is 1 lbs., 8.2 oz. (See post #3 below), putting this neck on the light weight side.
