Details

I am updating this post to address the Rev C or H issue that I created. I thought the Rev model was reflected on the sticker on the top of the cabinet, which you can see says Rev C. However, upon further research, I discovered that you are supposed to open the unit to see which Main Board version you have - and I have the Rev H Main Board. So this amp does not suffer from the outages that plagued earlier models. I've also uploaded the photo's of the main board to prove it. Thanks for following. Hopefully this will reassure you to buy it!

Up for sale is my Ampeg SVT 7 Pro Rev H bass amp head. Was used at rehearsals and a couple of gigs and has lived in a rack the full time I've had it. Excellent working, looking and sounding condition. The amp was purchased new from Sweetwater in March 2017.

NOTE - I've removed the rack mount wings and the rear rubber bumper feet for shipping purposes. They'll be included in the package in a plastic bag, including all the screws.

Please NO TRADES as I'm trying to sell off excess gear I no longer use or need. Includes shipping to CONUS and PayPal is fine.

Rev C, Rev H, what are all of the codes? How do you know what's good and what's not?

Wish I could help, but I would suggest Googling this particular amp for reviews. The reason I bought this one was my research showed me the Rev C was the best version.

The amp had never failed me.

In my limited research, Rev H is referring to the type of circuit board inside the amp. Some of the earlier models, (revisions)were having problems with the main board that was causing the amp to shut down. This problem was adressed and corrected with the newer amps with Rev H circuit boards.
Thanks bmac314 - I know you meant well and I appreciate your comments. I just want to update this post to let anyone who was thinking about this amp that it DOES have the Rev H Main Board (please see the new photos I just attached.)

This amp has NEVER quit on me and the obvious reason why is that it has the upgraded board in it. So - let's put this issue to rest - there is NO issue with this amp. It works great. I don't sell bad equipment. Not here or anywhere. My rating on Ebay, Reverb, Facebook Marketplace and here on TB is spotless. If there was something wrong with this amp, I would have fixed it. But there isn't.

Now - who wants a solid amp that works great?

No need for an apology! You educated me and voila, you were correct! Thus previous comment. I know you did not have any ill will! Have a great day.
