View attachment 3310279 This is a clean bass and I think everything is original. Weighs 9.3 pounds on my bathroom scale.
Action and playability is perfect.
The only things that give me pause on all original are the pickup bobbin covers are a matte finish, and the white pickguard doesn't have the serial number on the under side. The bobbins are the green/greyish color on the bottom, so I think either the covers are original, or possibly newer.
The headstock says S9, but I can't find any later dates on the bass to make me believe it's 80 or 81.
I currently have a black pickguard on the bass, which I think looks better. I'll included both with the bass.
