Selling my 2010 Fbass VF5. I am over extended a bit so should move this bass even though I don't want to. It is a gorgeous VF5 with the original handwound FBass pickups. This is as good a Jazz bass as you will ever play. Does the jazz bass thing perfectly but also does SO much more. Beautiful ergonomics, amazing tone, killer play-ability which are all things you come to expect from Fbass. It is also a very beautiful, classic looking instrument. The olympic white is smooth and creamy especially on the rounded edges of the FBass.
I will consider trades. I would ideally like to pocket $1000 or so at least so would be looking at trades plus cash. That said if someone has a Sadowsky NYC Modern they want to trade I would do that straight up. Satin series is fine. Also would do a straight trade for the right Skjold bass. Would love a Slayer. I would also like to get my hands on a Valenti Modern V plus cash my way. I am only interested in Active 5 string basses. No 4's or 6's please.
Weighs in around 10lbs and balances perfectly.
It is in fantastic shape. There is a couple small chips on the top of the headstock which can be clearly seen in the photos but other than that it is in near perfect condition. The neck and body don't have a mark that I can find.
Swampash body with the pickups in the 70's position.
I do not have the original FBass gig bag so it will ship in a serviceable new gig bag and will be very well packed.
