Do you know the weight?

Is this by any chance the one that Sam Ash Music had at their Midtown Manhattan store a few months ago?

Thanks!

Regardless, that's a great-looking bass, and the spec's (other than its weight) are near-perfect for me. My surgically-repaired, and again troubled, left shoulder is telling me that I shouldn't even consider any basses heavier than about 8 lbs. How does this one balance on a strap?

I wear it up high with a wide leather strap and it sits up nice and tight. Like I'm sitting with it.

The relic neck is so comfortable that I have second thoughts on selling this one.

It doesn't adhere to any specific time period. Fender took what they thought were some of the best qualities of various pbass's over the last few decades and put them in this. Here's their promo vid:

I recently picked one up and love it. Everything except for the fact that it does not have a truss rod wheel. Other than that it's pretty darn perfect.
